Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
Edau Connect exists so that everyone in Cardiff can find support, including disabled people, people using assistive technology, and people whose first language is Welsh. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA across the whole platform.
What we do
Every page can be navigated by keyboard, including a skip-to-content link. Interactive controls have visible focus states and touch targets of at least 44 pixels.
Text and interface colours are chosen for contrast against their backgrounds. Content is structured with proper headings, landmarks and labels for screen readers.
The public directory works without an account, without JavaScript-heavy interactions, and on small screens and slow connections.
Welsh language
Edau Connect is actively working on full bilingual support for both Welsh and English. The directory will offer a language toggle, and organisation profiles can be published bilingually. This feature is currently in production and not available yet. Rydym yn croesawu gohebiaeth yn Gymraeg, we welcome correspondence in Welsh.
Known limitations
Some listing content is provided by third-party organisations and may not always meet our standards; we review and correct it as we find it.
Older documents uploaded by organisations may not be fully accessible.
Tell us if something isn't working
If you find any part of Edau Connect difficult to use with assistive technology, or you need information in a different format, email info@edauconnect.org. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
Enforcement
If you contact us and are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
